Clinical Applications

High-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) is a respiratory therapy method that delivers a heated and humidified high-flow mixture of gases through a nasal tube without the need for a sealed interface.

Currently, HFNC has become a commonly used respiratory treatment method along with conventional oxygen therapy (COT), non-invasive positive pressure ventilation (NIV), and invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV).
